After Leiven’s father died, he spent a year unable to shed a tear at his loss. The pressure of the expectations and responsibilities he felt he had to meet and his beliefs about how he had to carry himself in so doing left no room for him to feel. Leiven’s inner journey began with an unexpected, stunning, full-hearted, loving, and liberating embrace of all of the grief, pain, anger, and shame that had been buried deep within for a lifetime.

Since that moment, his life journey has been to meet his greatest challenges and dive into his darkest shadows with clarity, openness, and self-compassion to unfold and bring to light richer understandings of himself and the world and how he can be of deepest impact and service. In walking this path, Leiven is able to see you with the same clarity and compassion and allow you to let go of conditioned beliefs and internal obstacles that limit your understanding of yourself and constrict your engagement with the world.

In addition to sharing practices and understandings for enriching and deepening your experience of life, Leiven creates a safe space for you to fully and clearly examine what challenges you may be facing and supports you in opening gateways to cogent insights and actions that lead your way through them.

 Leiven is instrumental in my journey in doing growth-oriented work. I had the privilege of being close to him through great tension and conflict in my life. When we connected during this time, I received so much comfort from his presence, how he holds space, and reflects with great empathy. I truly feel him to be a strong, empty vessel that I could pour anything in to. Leiven's actions and how he communicates come from a place of his wisdom, integrity, and resolve that will always impress me. He's healed me, he's prepared me to face my fears, and has affirmed me in a way that leaves me glowing after we part ways.
